Psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, behavioral health researchers, and clinical psychologists are invited to submit original work in addiction medicine, behavioral therapies, dual diagnosis, and mental health. Accepted abstracts will be presented as oral talks or posters before an international audience in San Diego.

Abstract guidelines (preview)

Before you submit

Follow the official structure, word limits, and ethics policies so your abstract moves smoothly through scientific review.

  • Structured sections: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions (where applicable).
  • Typical limit: 250–300 words for the abstract body (excluding title and authors).
  • Figures in the PDF must be readable at print size; embed fonts when possible.
